Originally from the Midwest, I now live on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii. 

My passion for new challenges extends to my personal life, where I am an avid runner, hiker, and swimmer.  I have hiked on each major island in the Hawaii island chain, and am in the process of completing an endurance race on each island by 2027. I also enjoy skiing, skating, and winter sports, which I have been doing since I was a child. 

Like many, I love to travel, and am especially obsessed with Japan and Korea (specifically for the cuisine).
